Guest Ghost Tiger
It has been ten years since Aang defeated the Phoenix King, Firelord Ozai in the battle he was born for. Aang is now fully trained and fully versed in all four of the elemental bending arts, he is now a fully realized Avatar with the ability to go in and out of the Avatar State at a whim. Zuko acting as Firelord used the Fire Nations immense wealth to help the three other nations and foster good will and comraderie among the four kingdoms. Meanwhile Sauron and his dark forces have overrun Middle Earth and dealt destruction to everyone who stood in their way. After gaining control of all of Middle Earth and amassing even more massive and powerful armies he uses his dark magics to open a portal to the world of Avatar. Can Sauron sucessfully move his forces in and take over the world of Avatar, or will Aang and the combined might of the four kingdoms be able to repel and crush the attack? Sauron will come at them with all he has.
Guest Ghost Tiger
NOTE: Even though Sauron has conquered Middle Earth he doesn't get the Ring.
Guest Diskyr
Alright, with the Air Nomads slaughtered, the best hope for the Avatar world to defeat Sauron's forces would be Aang ( of course ), the Aang Gaang, and the military might of the Fire Nation. The Fire nation was already deploying pre-WW1 or 2 like Tanks, plus had airships that rained hell from the skies. Of course, the nazgul and the enslaved eagles and dragons will pose an enormous challenge, but seeing that these beasts can be killed by conventional Middle Earth armaments, ( swords, axes, etc. ) the 3 nations have a pretty good chance at beating Sauron's forces. 10 Years is plenty of time to recover since the Earth Kingdoms and Northern ( the SouthernWater Tribe got their asses handed to them after a LONG guerilla campaign by the Fire Nation. And I mean VERY LONG ) Water Tribe were pretty holding their own for 100 years despite the Earthen Nation losing the war...well, the initial battles anyways. Seeing as Sauron's forces have a limited number of wizards and dark arts gurus at their dosposal ( LOTR is not my forte, so correct me on this if you may ), its best to say that a medium sized taskforce of Firebenders, earthbender, and waterbenders, along with defensive melee infantry to protect their flanks will be sufficient. The only worry a task force this size and strength would have to be cautious about would be an arrow barrage, exhaustion, and sheer numbers. The Best alternative instead of engaging Sauron's armies would be for Team Avatar to go through the portal that Suaron's forces have actually gne through. To middle earth. There, the Team and the Invasion force could plow their way through his forces, seeing as even Sauron's orcs had trouble with Hobbits lol. Manipulating the elements will be hell for them. It wont be an easy task of course. Team Avatar can hitch a ride on Appa, with Katara, Aang, and Zuko ( yes, he's part of the team now if you've watched the Series Finale ) shooting down whatever ariel monstrosities Sauron has it his disposal. It will be hard to actually injure Sauron since you need something equivalent of that unbreakable sword from the LOTR Elves to hurt him. Though I see Aang going Avatar State on Sauron. There was this Fire Nation Avatar previous from Avatar langchen ( an Air Nomad Avatar). He was doing some insane things like manipulating volcanoes with his firebending. Seeing as Aang has had 10 whole years to master the 4 elements, ( thanks with even greater help from the Sun Warrios ), Aang can manipulate Mount Doom to his advantage. Turning it against Sauron's forces and whatnot. Along with other insane feats Aang can pull with 10 more years of training with the other 3 elements( Aang should be 22 by now ). Anyways, as Sauron is covered head to toe in metallic armor, Toph can basically bend him to the lavas of Mount Doom, ensuring an overwhleming victory for the 3 Nations and an embarrasing as well as a retarded defeat for Sauron's forces/

Guest zig7
I have no idea how powerful the avatar heroes, but remember that Sauron is a demi-god. He is the second most powerful evil being in the Tolken universe and there is a good chance that he would have magic that could counter almost any power such as magnetism.
