The reverberations of this decision caused at first a panic and then a deep desire amongst the many wizards, magicians, demon et al. Soon there was a race to establish one's self as the next prospect. From the most obscure illusionist to the most infamous necromancers..the sense of urgency to attain Strange's position became apparent.. So a decision was made... a round robin fight to the finish..winner takes all and goes to the forefront of the magic community to become the top pick for Sorcerer Supreme...So good readers the participants in this Magical showdown are Brother Voodoo , Doctor Doom , the Hood, Nico Minoru , Magik , the Ghost Rider , Wiccan , Druid (the son of the late mystic Doctor Druid ), Baron Mordo , Ian McNee, Scarlet Witch , Storm , Clea , Spiral , Selene , Agatha Harkness, Dormammu, Daimon Hellstrom and Jennifer Kale. Isn't the Hood backed and powered by Dormammu?Well to be honest, this is the list of chars that wiki states in the Sorcerer Supreme listing as the magic-users likely in line for Strange's position...person for person...and I really don't know anything about the hood. Storm, Wiccan, Druid, Nico, & most everyone else gets stomped by the more experienced/powerful magicians. This leaves: Daimon, Scarlet Witch, Doom, Ghost Rider, Clea, Hood, Dormammu, & Baron Mordo. Immediatly, someone exorcises Hood, leaving himout. This is where things get interesting. Daimon's Satan's son, and he's pretty powerful. Clea & Mordo are both tough enough to give Strange a good fight. Ghost Rider's just.... He's just strong. As is Dormammu. Still, the big two are Scarlet Witch (if it's even the real one) & Doctor Doom (who's just strong). The Witch could probably take everyone except Doom. Doom with two days of prep is too much. I ask because if I recall Mephisto was one of Doom's biggest magical type rivals in his early wizardy days, but I don't recall stealing of Mephisto's powers as ever being an option..
