Guest Ruinus
Agreed...My internet bill sometimes doesn't get paid for a long time. Or also what if I am going on vacation and I go to a hotel and that hotel doesn't have internet connection. And trust me almost all the resorts in Florida never had internet connection. So I never got a chance to play online with my PS3, WiiU or 360. The Xbox One personally just isn't for me. Which is why like I said I'm sticking with PC+PS4, that's like the best combo. Also I what to add some more...What about people in a military base in Afghanistan? How will they play the Xbox one? If you don't pay your Internet bills on time that's not a problem with the Xbox One, that's a problem with not being able to pay your bills on time, any system or device that requires Internet is dependent on you paying the bills to have Internet, so that's not really a charge that can be leveled against the Xbox One. If you go on vacation and don't have Internet in your vacation spots... that's also not a problem with the Xbox One or the PS4 or your laptop, that's a problem with the areas you vacation in. As for military people... why wouldn't their military based have Internet connections? If that military base doesn't have Internet... well I guess being in the Armed Forces sucks huh? Guest Ruinus
I care about used games. Because that's how me and my friends borrow our games. Here's what you do. Get 10 friends, designate them as your 10 family members on the Xbox One. Pool your money together, buy 1 game. Share that game with your 10 friends. You now all have that game. That you can't play at the same time... http://screencrush.com/xbox-one-game-sharing-will-work-with-friends-and-family/ The solution is a work around for "lending" games, not something to create a monster library you and 10 people can have access to. As for the always on aspect my issue isn't with my internet, it's great, I'm never offline pretty much, my issue is with Microsoft. If those authentication servers go down (and they will, because some asshat is going to attack it, probably multiple times during its life cycle) I won't be able to play which is ridiculous. Even Steam has an offline mode.

Guest Red_Dragon
I just came across this. Apparently, the Xbox One will only be supported in 21 countries around the world.http://www.ibtimes.com/xbox-one-region-locked-microsoft-game-console-will-not-work-outside-21-launch-countries-1304945#Granted, this may not actually affect how many people purchase the system since most if not all of the high economy countries are on that list. The Void
If you don't pay your Internet bills on time that's not a problem with the Xbox One, that's a problem with not being able to pay your bills on time, any system or device that requires Internet is dependent on you paying the bills to have Internet, so that's not really a charge that can be leveled against the Xbox One. Not paying your internet bill on time happens to almost everyone, because there may be other more important bills to pay, many people told that they have that one problem with the Xbox One. Not only that, what if you live in a third world country and there's barely any internet connection. The whole world has not even developed high speed internet as of yet, but only some countries. Even in the USA not that many parts have good internet, but the highly populated areas like NYC, LA, Chicago, etc. Also nobody is using this against the Xbox One. I'm just not getting one because its just not for me. If you go on vacation and don't have Internet in your vacation spots... that's also not a problem with the Xbox One or the PS4 or your laptop, that's a problem with the areas you vacation in. On a Laptop I don't need internet to use it, I can do other things besides going on the internet even though internet is the more important feature. The same is for the PS4. With the Xbox One the main feature which is gaming will be locked unless internet connection every 24/7 hours. No I have to disagree, the vacation spot is not the problem, what if people want to play offline? People like me really don't care for online gaming and bring our consoles almost everywhere we go, one of the number one factors over PC gaming. Again I am not knocking the Xbox One, like I said again its just not for me. As for military people... why wouldn't their military based have Internet connections? If that military base doesn't have Internet... well I guess being in the Armed Forces sucks huh? Why should it sucks for them? Their putting lives on the line, why shouldn't they enjoy a little gaming? Why shouldn't they enjoy a little Madden or something? I doubt a country like Afghanistan would have good internet connections.

Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like more than one person can be playing at a given time, so don’t get your hopes up about playing multiplayer with friends without buying two copies of a game. ^^^Their trying to work around borrowing games. Guest force_echo
Well...I kinda agree on the pirating on PC. But I disagree 100% on you having to pay $1000 to get into PC. I never ever once paid $1000 for a PC build...The highest I go is $900. 900? That's SO much more affordable for me. Thanks Stranglehold, I'll be sure to buy one the next chance I get. I thought this article was interesting: http://www.cracked.com/article_20482_5-hilarious-ways-game-designers-are-messing-with-pirates.html Interestingly, I torrented Asylum and I could cape-glide fine. The Void
900? That's SO much more affordable for me. Thanks Stranglehold, I'll be sure to buy one the next chance I get. Read again...I said the highest I would go is 900 bucks. And at 900 bucks you build a gaming rig that maxes out every game. You can easily build a nice budget gaming around $500 and that gaming rig will still be much more powerful than the consoles and you will still be able to play games at 1080p on medium settings which is still good compared to whats on console's. If you wanna go even lower you can build a gaming rig for at least $350... It just depends on your budget really. Also PC gaming can be very cheap once you gotten rid of the annoying part which the budget build. After that you have things like Steam which almost always has game sales. Guest Darxeth
snipYou are correct for the most part. However, It is the fault of the XBone to require internet to play games. What if I wanted a system that allows me to play games regardless of whether I have an internet connection or not? Thus, is my largest problem with the XBOne and is also the sole reason I'm sticking with PS4. At least I don't have to have an internet connection to play PS4 games. Guest Hayesmeister5651
Um, if you spend $900 on a computer, 100 more isn't anything really. And if you don't have 100 to spare after spending 900, then you shouldn't spend the 900 in the first place.

Oh, Dios mio...Temper temper.... Its pretty obvious that they are more worried about their lives than an Xbox One. I mean really? Shouldn't that be common sense? But my point was what if they want to play some games, because that's what a lot of people in the service do on their free time. And here is what a US Navy Serviceman has to say about the Xbox One.http://www.vg247.com/2013/06/13/us-navy-serviceman-calls-xbox-ones-24-hour-online-check-a-sin-committed-against-all-service-members/ ^^^From that article alone tells us that people in service DO care about gaming and DO game when on their free time. I am more so concerned with the constant video taping the kinect will be doing. While it would be annoying to have to be connected to the internet to play, I can deal with it, just not the constant video taping. The trading games thing is bull shit as well. Guest Red_Dragon
It's a sad day for Microsoft and the Xbox when there are 3 or 4 major issues with the system and anyone of them is a valid reason to not buy the system. Between the Big Brother recording, constant need for internet, limitations on used games, and limited access in other countries, they've alienated a ton of gamers. About how many consoles do people predict the Xbox One will sell, based on what we know right now.

They can afford to gamble on things like this Xbox One. If it fails, then they use their charity tax write-offs to cover their losses. Besides, people are stupid and have brand loyalty. Yeah you're correct. I personally don't have no problems with the Xbox One. I actually love how the controller looks. My problems are with Microsoft themselves and their business tactics. I know its business and shouldn't tell a company how to run THEIR BUSINESS, but why can't they go easy on the consumer? We buy their products. I definitely agree 100% on the fanboy part. Guest silversurfer092
All I'm going to do is hold out with the 360 for two more years, hope that Xbone does terribly in the first two years, see a massive price drop or some other sort of special deal, pick up the Xbone and some cheap two year old games, and then keep waiting for cheap new games. Patience is a virtue.
Guest bigballerju
Yup that's what I did with the 360 actually and I will do the same with either the PS4 or XBOX One. I'm keeping the 360 for another 2 years and when games for it start dropping to low prices I will be buying some games I haven't played for cheap.
