Guest callisto
Never had he fought such a harsh and difficult opponent such as this particular one. The green skinned man was quite the crafty prey and his strength was overwhelming even for himself. But he couldn’t run off form this hunt, he couldn’t walk away a failure. There were only two options for him-- success and failure. And if it was his fate to undergo the latter, then at least he would do so with honor. His body was battered, skin broken and several ribs were broken but he needed to keep on fighting against this green skinned man. His green glowing phosphorous blood pooled in small puddles where he stood, the combi-staff which he gripped in his hands was now held tighter than ever before. Failure or triumph, Scar was ready for either. The Green Goblin was surprised to know that despite the beatings which he had inflicted upon this armored and bladed opponent, despite that this thing who had interfered in his plan to destroy Peter Parker’s life was weaker and less experienced, that this creature was more than able to hold his ground and keep on fighting. He was also surprised to feel the level of damage which this thing had managed to place onto him, and it infuriated Norman more than anything else in the world. This thing managed to destroy his glider with a shot from the weapon on his shoulder, and caused Norman to dislocate and break his right shoulder, even break his arm in several places, and the grievous lacerations which the Green Goblin received on his chest, stomach and back. It was clear that this creature wanted to kill him. Scar and the Green Goblin stared off to one another and remained silent. Their stares conveying the words which they wanted to speak. Immediately the two rushed in towards one another as quickly as they could, despite the injuries which the two had sustained. And the two collided in with each other like two speeding trailer trucks. Scar thrust his arms out, pushing his combi-staff straight out for the Goblin’s chest, but the Green Goblin dodged each thrust as swiftly as he could, and he retaliated with fierce swings with all of his strength, but the Young Blooded warrior parried with his combi-staff and moved away from each swing which was made. Both were sending out numerous strikes, but neither able to land a strike in as they were dodging, blocking and redirecting the other’s attacks. Grunts and growls could be heard through out the streets as the two tried to land their blows onto the other, still unable to do so. The Green Goblin immediately sent out a punch as hard as he could, but then he watched as Scar immediately spun around and push his sharpened staff outward from the back and Norman immediately felt something sharp puncturing deep into his chest as a powerful pain rushed through out his entire body. Scar Predator glared through his mask lenses, noticing that his mark was a success as he watched the sharpened end of the combi-staff plunging deep into the Green Goblin’s chest-- right in the center. Scar pushed against the staff and watched as his opponent’s blood coated the weapon from the other end. The Goblin screamed as he felt his heart deflating upon being punctured by the staff weapon and then he fell down onto his knees his chest pouring out blood from the deep puncture wound with only the staff to keep the blood from pouring out even more. Norman moved his hands up as they quivered violently and he placed it onto the polearm of the staff, and he tried to pull the weapon out. But the Goblin raised his head up and widened his eyes in shock as he watched the alien warrior swing at him with those right handed wristblades, and he didn’t feel a thing-- nothing as Scar immediately cleaved his head off from his neck. The fight was over. The Green Goblin’s head rolled backward from his body and his headless form followed suite. Scar immediately felt a rush of adrenaline coursing through out his entire body and he felt every muscle within his entire body clench as his body. He took in a deep breath of air through his mouth underneath his mask and bellowed out a fierce roar from within as his body started to produce much more testosterone than before and he roared furiously as the call echoed through out the city of New York. When the rush of power left him, the Yautja slumped forward and he fell to his knees. He was going to be stronger than before, but with the beating he had sustained, he was going to need rest-- and a lot of it if he were to continue to hunt. Scar reached out with his right arm, taking the severed, bloodied head of the Green Goblin as he slowly stood up to his feet. His ears perked up as soon as he had heard the sounds of sirens and he looked up at the skies above-- it was dark. The winged beings were going to be out again soon, he needed to flee the area or else they would find him. Knowing this, Scar immediately activated his invisibility cloaking device and faded into the environment, his presence now hidden in plain sight as he was invisible and he turned, running off as fast as he could to the pier where his ship was located if he were to find rest and heal up for the hunt. A week had passed since the death of the Green Goblin and now that he had claimed worthy prey after that time of rest, it was once again time to return to the Hunt. It hadn’t been long since he had left his ship as he decided to return to the city and it was good to get back to the activity. Scar had learned something quite valuable in the fight with the Goblin, and he had learned that it was not always the wisest decision to fight with an opponent who was stronger than himself. He learned to stay within his own league until he could become stronger and more experienced in the Hunt. It was dark in the city once more, and he thought it best to stick to hunting the winged creatures who were out looking for him since he had killed their leader. The winged beings. They mostly come out at night. Mostly. He stuck to the rooftops, knowing that was where the best chances of finding the winged creatures were and they mostly seemed to be around the Manhattan area of the city. Earlier in the day, the Young Blooded warrior had taken the time to actually explore the city, get to know it better as he needed to gain another advantage. This way no other opponent would have the element of surprise over him if he needed to venture far out into the city. His mask sensors then registered a heat signature somewhere nearby and in the distance, the Young Blooded hunter watched as the heat signature drew closer and closer. He tapped onto a button in his mask, allowing his visual sensors to zoom in on the being and he grinned as he realized that it was one of the winged creatures. Scar readied himself as he jerked his wristblades out. It had been sometime since the death of Goliath and now it was Brooklyn who was running the clan now with Hudson second in command. Elisa had taken Goliath’s death very hard, and things hadn’t been easy on anyone in the clan. And surprisingly even Demona had come to pay her respects for the one she had once called a mate. Since then the clan had wanted nothing more than vengeance on Goliath’s killer. At first everyone thought it was Xanatos but that wouldn’t even be the case as the killer happened to had claimed the Green Goblin as well. Broadway was soaring through the skies, riding the up draft winds as he glided through the Manhattan area and he looked down at the streets below and the rooftops as well as he wanted to see if there was anything suspicious in the area. So far there was nothing. And Broadway wanted to bring this killer down more than anyone else in the clan. The winds were slowing down and the Gargoyle repositioned his wings as he prepared to land. When he set feet first down onto a rooftop, he looked down at the streets and pondered as to who could do such a thing to Goliath. And the same murder to the Green Goblin-- like as if someone had something to prove. Broadway shook his head in dismay and he sighed out. A brief time to mourn the loss of a friend. “HAAAAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!” A cackle came from nowhere. But it was nearby. Catching the Gargoyle off guard, Broadway listened to the laughter which he heard and it kept on going and going. He searched the rooftop for the source of the laughter but as he listened, he noticed the way it sounded. It was almost warped, mechanized but clear at the same time. “WOLVERINES!” Another warped, distorted voice came. Broadway became tense as he continued on his search with his eyes-- and that’s when he noticed a shape in front of him as it was distorting in the air, glowing blue electrical bolts dancing across the invisible form and he widened his eyes in shock as he witnessed the unseen source of laughter appearing before him. The Gargoyle’s instincts were suddenly at peak as he felt a hostile feeling coming from this armored warrior appear before him. “You… You’re the killer, aren’t you?! You’re the one who killed Goliath!!” Scar mimicked the Gargoyle’s voice, as if he were doing so in a mocking fashion. “Killed Goliath!” Broadway’s eyes glowed a fierce bright white and he spread his wings apart, claws on both his hands flared outward as he roared out in a challenge to Scar. The Yautja took in a deep breath of air through his mouth underneath his mask and he allowed the air around him to fill in his lungs and bellowed his own challenging roar out from within. Scar Predator readied himself as he raised his right arm up, showing his wristblades as he positioned himself into fighting stance. A grin formed as his expression remained hidden underneath his mask, he knew how strong these winged creatures were and was expecting a fight from Broadway. The Gargoyle felt an updraft wind blowing from behind and he glided in for the Yautja, now tackling him as he used his strength to over power the other and he took a hold of the long range weapon on Scar‘s left shoulder and crushed it with his hand-- but the Yautja placed his hands onto the Gargoyle’s shoulder and a foot underneath the girth of his stomach and pushed the Gargoyle off-- tossing him onto the floor of the rooftop. Scar and Broadway both rose up and stared towards one another. Will Scar claim another Gargoyle, or will Broadway avenge the loss of Goliath? RakaiThwei
This is my newest match in my Scar Predator arc. Scar Predator is armored with Medium Grade Standard Issue Dlex. Scar Predator is armed with Medium Grade Dlex Wristblades (Acid resistant), High Grade Dlex Combi-staff (Acid resistant) and Shurikens. The Shoulder plasma caster is destroyed. Scar Predator is now a class four in strength. Broadway is at full strength here. -Rakai'Thwei
Movie-Brat
How I see it that, while Broadway is at full strength but since he survived the entire Xenomorph race in the film, Scar might as well win this one until a Gargoyle in strength and skill equally. Technically, he has more technology that's dangerous. Interesting enough concerning your previous, I actually did read a Gargoyles/Predator crossover. Goliath fought a Predator in that story. Excellent read by the way. Great set up by the way.

Guest Bloody Freak
Excellent as always Rakai, I should probably start making matches so I can actually grade these things... Loved how descriptive this was, I am confused on the opponent though. Scar killed Goliath not too long ago... why match him up with Broadway, a weaker version of Goliath? Although, from a storytelling standpoint, it's perfect and makes sense. However, the winner seems quite obvious here, despite Broadway being enraged. I do look forward to a brutal and bloody end to this match... the bloodier the better.

Having already defeated the largest Gargoyle, I doubt he'd go after a weaker one where he knows he has the clear advantage - knowing how they fight. With Broadway, it's reasonable, but with Lexington and Brooklyn, a one-on-one will be too easy. Maybe if you throw in Bronx? Regardless, I look forward to it all. I haven't added in Bronx to the database, but I do know that Hudson himself is quite the formidable Gargoyle since he is older than Goliath and his experience may even help him if Scar does fight him. I'm not so sure about the female Gargoyles though if they are tougher or just as tough as the males-- I have thought of putting Scar up against Demona or Angela. I'm doing my best to stay away from the Marvel or DC characters since I don't feel Scar is ready for those guys yet... I learned that with Goblin. -Rakai'Thwei

You don't need to have him in the database for that, I'd consider Bronx more of an added weapon than a character. Hudson would be perfect. Experience, size, and not to mention fighting with a sword, that does make things more interesting. Yeah, that's a good choice, for now anyways. I have noticed that the new site has allot less comic book fanboys that vote blindly. I like that.

Guest victim36
Broadway just doesn't have anything new to offer since Scar has already dealt with Goliath. I don't think Scar would even break a sweat with this one. He's seen what they can do, and he's dealt with the groups best.

I just don't think this will be much of a challenge for the young Predator. I agree with Freak, that maybe a second Gargoyle would have evened up the odds. That's all. But since the Predators learn and adapt as the evolve into older hunters, I don't see Broadway doing anything that Goliath didn't try. So Scar will read him a lot better than he did the first time he fought a Gargoyle. Broadway knows Scar is tough, but doesn't have a clue as to what the Predator can actually do. DSkillz
Great set-up as usual, Rakai. As for the match itself, I'm going to have to echo the sentiments of everyone else. Though Broadway is arguably the second-strongest Gargoyle in the Manhattan Clan (Angela may be right there with him strength-wise), he and everyone else in the Clan usually cowered when Goliath showed his trademark temper (except for Angela; it's not that easy to intimidate the ladies, lol). And in your previous set-up, Goliath went down after a brutal battle. So, Scar claims another Gargoyle head for a trophy. I'm not so sure about the female Gargoyles though if they are tougher or just as tough as the males-- I have thought of putting Scar up against Demona or Angela. I'd say female Gargoyles match up pretty well with the males. Demona wasn't Goliath's original second-in-command for nothing. She's a great fighter, deviously cunning, and regularly thrashes other Gargoyles in battle. She's also funtionally immortal (she can be killed temporarily, but will come back to life in minutes; only Macbeth can kill her for good and vice versa), and has almost a millennium's worth of combat experience outside of Goliath's clans. As for Angela, she regularly performs feats some of her clan-mates haven't (i.e., swinging a twenty-foot stone pillar like a baseball bat), and tends to be among the last members standing in a tough group battle. I guess it's the good genes from Mom and Dad, lol. The result of this battle would likely give Angela that much extra motivation, since she's not only lost her father, but now her life-mate in Broadway to Scar.
