Match 6562 Scar Predator vs. Sailor Mercury

Sailor Mercury is pretty strong have ice on her side. But the Predator I think will seem to vicious for her and she won't know how to handle it. Scar wins.

Anime villains typically stand there and give a long speech before fighting.... So the two face off against each other. Mercury stands there tapping her foot impatiently waiting for the speech or w/e, the Pred just shrugs and shoots her with his plasma caster.

 

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! So true to an extent!

The Sailor Moon characters are surprisingly powerful, more so than what CBUBers give them credit for.

I liked it, but it just hit me as I never thought the fight would occur. I used to watch anime (DBZ, Sailor Moon, etc.) when I was 5-11 years old. Let us call it a "palatable surprise." I was more surprised if any other emotion.

Well, I myself was and still am Sailor Moon fan.

 

I wanted to do a Predator vs Sailor Moon fight for a long, long time, and I was surprised no one really properly did one until now.

I totally agree. The recovery was swell. Now as for the match: This would be dubious for me. This time, I'm being diffident regarding Scar, from what RakaiThwei said. Let us say if Sailor Mercury acts cutesy and all, Scar takes it. But if she is serious, it might be a whole different story.

 

Remember, monologues equal vulnerable moments. Instead of listening to the monologue, our friend Scar would rather just kill her.

When I wrote the set up, she attacked head on with one of her Freezing Ice Bubbles.

 

So Scar knows she isn't one to be trifled with. And he knows that she might be dangerous enough to the point where he's going to need to use his weapons, all of them.

 

However, we also need to take into account of Scar's kills in this arc.

 

Scar Predator's confirmed kills are:

 

10 Xenomorphs

7 out of 8 of the Wolverines Guerrilla Freedom Fighters

Goliath

Green Goblin

Broadway

Brooklyn

Sho'nuff the Shogun of Harlem

Great setup rakai! Very enjoyable. Even more interesting match up though. What I know of sailor moon all comes from you and she does seem rather powerful, however, I have the brutality of scar edging her out. Not to mention his badass arsenal.

An Alien being that was born and trained to kill for sport versus a magical girl who is able to exterminate you with water and ice. They are both really great combatants and are really strong in there own way. But since Sailor Mercury isn't the type of girl to kill someone, she might hold back. Then again, she might not have a choice and will have to go all out, knowing this isn't the type of opponent that plays around. The Scar Predator is an amazing warrior, but against someone that has the ability to manipulate water and ice, he'll die but it would be a brutal battle.

Well I have only seen Sailor Moon in the English Dubs by DiC and Cloverway, so I cannot say if what you're saying is true because the Japanese version of the anime is considered to be entirely different from the English version, and is probably considered a different continuity altogether since the English dub has several never aired episodes and some episodes were infact spliced scenes from different episodes.

 

And then you have to remember that there are THREE different versions of Sailor Mercury.

 

The Manga version.

 

The Anime version.

 

The PGSM Live Action version.

 

The one in this match up is the Anime version.. and from what I remember of the anime, Mercury's attacks haven't really killed an enemy but rather more along the lines incapacitated.

I say It's Good. Another great set-up. I really don't know anything about Sailor Mercury, so my vote will not be valid. I can't really comment on the outcome. Scar will put up a fight just like he has done so many times before.

Never was a fan of the Sailor Moon series, but judging from the vid, Sailor Mercury could give Scar some trouble with some water and freezing attacks… until Scar impales or shoots her mid-chant, lol.

I wanted to give Scar his first truly super powered opponent that has something besides superhuman strength and endurance, so I figured a good place to start was Sailor Mercury.
