Match 6581 The Punisher and Solid Snake vs. Lex Luthor and Deathstroke

Roy Campbell watched the presidential inauguration of Lex Luthor on TV. As the director of the CIA he could have attended in person. But the sheer thought of Lex Luthor being president was enough to give him a migraine. Lex was one of the most dangerous men in the world a career criminal and now he would be in charge of the most powerful country in the world. He needed to put a stop to it and he knew the perfect person for the job. Snake sat on his chair enjoying the warm fire coming from the fireplace in his cabin in the Alaskan wilderness. He didn’t exactly know what to do with his retirement. Sure now he wasn’t under the threat of being shot, but if anything the life of a retired CIA agent was rather boring. His phone then rung he checked the caller ID and noticed that the calling number was from Roy Campbell or the Colonel as he called him. There was only one reason the Colonel would call and it wasn’t for a friendly chat. He hesitated to answer, but after a moment decided to answer. “Hello who is this?” Snake asked even though he already knew the answer.“It’s Roy Campbell.” Roy said.“What do you want Colonel?” Snake asked even though he knew the answer to that question as well.“Listen snake I know you’re retired, but this is important.” Roy said “Well nice to know that this time you decided to call instead of sending in an entire army after me this time.” Said snake a reference to the last time that Roy had wanted him to do something for him.“Snake let it go already. Besides I already apologized for that.” Roy respondedSnake stayed silent for a while, but then answered “I’ll think about it.” And then hung up3 days laterSnake and Otacon drove to the CIA building. For most of the trip snake and Otacon had been silent. But then Otacon asked “what do you think the Colonel could want?”“Oh the usual I guess. Some tough kind of recon mission that none of his current lackeys can do so now he has to call in an old Veteran.” Snake responded They parked the car and began to walk to the entrance. At the entrance were two guards. One of them held out his hand and said “Passes please.” “Tell the Colonel I’m here.” Said Snake “Not without some identification. Show me your passes or I’m kicking you out.” Said the guard“Heh I’d like to see you try.” Snake said“What was that?” said the guard angrily “I think he said he’d like to hear you try.” Said Roy who happened to be standing at the door. “And as a matter of fact so would I.”At the sight of the director the guard immediately gave way to let Snake and Otacon pass. As they entered the office Roy locked the door behind them. Then looked at both Snake and Otacon and said “It’s very important that what is said in here must never leave the four of us.”“Four of us?” said Otacon puzzled“Yes four of us. Frank come on out.” Roy said signaling to a wall where a hidden door was installed. From inside the hidden door a man came out. Snake noticed that in the middle of his black shirt was a white skull. Snake immediately recognized this symbol.“The Punisher!” Snake yelled“Calm down Snake.” Roy yelled“What exactly is going on here Colonel? First me now you’ve got the Punisher in on this. What kind of mission is this?” Snake asked“He wants us to murder the President.” Frank said stoically “Yes that’s exactly what I want.” Roy said“But why?” asked Otacon “I don’t know about you but the fact that one of the world’s most dangerous criminals is now in charge of the most powerful country just doesn’t sound to pleasing to me.” Frank said“You’re right about that.” Snake said “So Frank’s in are you?” Roy askedSnake thought about it for a minute then answered “Yeah I’m in. You’ve got a point Luthor running the country doesn’t sound good to me either.” “Good now before I give you some intel to go with this mission I fear I must warn you who the main bodyguard for Luthor is.” Roy said handing snake a folder. Snake received it and opened it his eyes got real wide as he saw the photo of him “This won’t be an easy one.” He handed it to Frank when he opened it he said “We can do it.”A few days later Snake, Frank, and Otacon were all in a van a few blocks away from the white house. “All right guys Campbell gave us these passes so we could walk on in there unsearched. But I figured the two of you don’t want to walk in the front door. So I took the liberty of finding a way in through a different route.” Otacon said showing them the blueprint of the white house.“Good work Otacon.” Said snake“Thanks I’ve also managed to hack into the camera feed I’ll let you two know if I see anything.” Otacon said“Snake be careful Deathstroke is not one to be underestimated. We may be good but so is this guy.” Frank said“Yeah I know I’ve heard the stories.” Snake responded-----------------------------------Okay so Snake is armed with an M4 carbine and MK. 23 pistol. Punisher is Armed with an M4 a Mossberg shotgun and two MP7 machine pistols. They have to kill Lex Luthor but Deathstorke is guarding him along with 30 secret service agents spread throughout the white house. They do however have the element of surprise.

Lex won't be a problem for them IF they can get past Deathstroke. Seeing as how he usually faces much more merciful opponents, he might let his guard down. I'm voting for the good guys here.

The Punisher and Solid Snake Would win this round. Period.

 

Hell yeah they would. Infiltration, assasination, close quaters combat, this is what Snake was made to do, and the Punisher is more than capable of all those (but maybe not quite as good as Snake). Deathstroke is badass and very skilled, but two of the best stealthy, gun-slinging tactitions in comics should be able to take him down. And Lex is nothing compared to them, so once theyve shot and stabbed their ways through all his guards theyll woop his ass good.

according to the setup, Deathstroke doesn't know they're coming, this means that they have plenty of time to prepare.

 

because of that, Snake and Punisher can easily kill Luthor, Deathstroke will likely not even be a problem.

 

 

remember, they don't actually have to fight Deathstroke, the setup says that all they have to do, is kill Luthor.

If Snake and the Punisher can kill Lex without letting anyone know that they're around, then they can win. But, if Deathstroke finds out that they're there before they can execute it's over. Deathstroke will run through them.

I agree here. Team 1's best chances would be doing it undetected. If Deathstroke learns of anything out of place, he will Destroy those two in a straight up fight. Now if Deathstroke is guarding Lex in the same room that would pose a serious problem to team 1.

you're assuming that they need to be in the same room as Luthor to kill him.

 

with the right preperation, once they know his schedule, Punisher can take him out with a high-powered sniper rifle from almost 2 miles away.

 

or use explosives and destroy the white house(or just the section in which Luthor is located)

You beat me to it. DS VS JLA IMO=Punisher kills the MU. About the same level of realism.

actually he beat Zatanna, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Green Arrow, and Atom with a moments notice when Doctor Light showed up at his door. Using 90% of his brain means he doesnt need prep time because he out thinks you on the move by 12 to 20 steps.

How did he beat Flash exactly? Didn't Flash run into his sword or something? That is complete PIS... most of that fight was.

 

Hawkman, Green Arrow, Atom...yes, completely possible. The others...no.

Deathstroke detonated explosions leaving only one path for the Flash to take. By breaking GL's hand it caused him to not be able to think clearly enough to stop Deathstroke from knocking him out.

 

PIS or not it happened so its a fact and arguing point. If deadpool wasnt a complete idiot psychologically he should be able to take them out.

I love how it's just a simple as walking up and breaking GL's hand... how come no-one else just did that before? I read a JLA comic where this guy defeats the whole team and his only power is a suit that has CD recording of the teams powers (like Taskmaster), If I was in the JLA and we lost to someone like Batman or Deathstroke, I would say it's time to start again from scratch.

I read a JLA comic where this guy defeats the whole team and his only power is a suit that has CD recording of the teams powers (like Taskmaster), If I was in the JLA and we lost to someone like Batman or Deathstroke, I would say it's time to start again from scratch.

It wasnt that simple. Remeber he can think 20 steps ahead of the normal human brain so he figured what GL would do and countered getting in close and breaking his hand.

He had no prep time, the JL showed up at his door, and he *insensitivity'd* all of them. Punisher vs. the MU isn't even cannon, and it was stupid as hell.

Deadpool is actually a master planner, just read Wolverine Origins for an example. When he actually tries, he's as good as Batman.
